Every year, a cluster of grasshoppers come to the anthill and act corrosively what the ants have gathered because of them. The "offering", as the ants denominate the ritual, is a part of their inevitable necessity. One day in spring, when the oblation's preparation has just been highly wrought, Flik, unliked inventor ant, accidentally drops the good offered seeds into the river. The grasshoppers draw near and give the ants a promote chance to collect food until get. Flik sets off to find bugs that are of a mind to fight the grasshoppers (nobody expects him to succeed anyway) and, owing to a double misinterpretation, returns with a circus crew, giving everybody unused hope. When the misunderstanding finally gets cleared on the ~side, there is only little time left with a view to a new plan, which has to drudge, or else...
